Frequently Asked Questions

What are the ingredients in your oils and capsules?

We believe it’s important to keep our products as close to the natural state of hemp as possible.  The 2 ingredients used to make our infused oils are very simple:

Organically grown pesticide-free hemp, certified organic cold-pressed coconut oil (capsules) or MCT oil (tinctures)

Are Mokiobi products tested for purity?

Yes. All of our products are tested by independent third-party labs for phytocannabinoid content, potency, pesticides, solvents, heavy metals and microorganisms.  You can rest assured knowing your product has been thoroughly tested prior to arriving at your home.

Why are your products green, compared to other CBD products that are usually clear or yellow?

Mokiobi products are the closest to the natural, original hemp product as possible – hence their natural green color.  Our products are made using a patented, low heat infusion process that uses the entire plant, and we only use purified water to infuse our proprietary, high CBD, hemp strains directly into a healthy fat (coconut oil or MCT).  Because our products are made with only minimal processing (and never chemicals or solvents), they include the ‘full spectrum’ of available phytocannabinoids.

Can Mokiobi be used for cooking or added to other products?

Yes! Our products are infused oils, and work perfectly as butter, oil and shortening replacements in your favorite recipes.  In fact, you can use our oils just as you would any coconut or MCT oil.  Our customers use it for everything from baking, to kick up their coffee, as massage oil and everything in between!

Why does the oil inside my capsules appear to look solid or crystalized?

In order to keep our products as close to the natural state of hemp as possible, we only use coconut oil and hemp as ingredients in our capsule oil.  Therefore, the oil will act just as coconut oil, and will solidify/crystalize at temperatures below 76°F (24°C).  To get the oil in the capsule liquid again, simply hold it in your hand and it will return to the beautiful green liquid characteristic of our products.

Are your products allergen-safe or certified?

Although none of our ingredients contain gluten or tree-nuts, our products are packaged in a facility that may have trace amounts of gluten, peanuts, or other tree-nuts.  Our products are solvent-free, chemical-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and vegan.

At this time, we use organic ingredients whenever possible in the production of our hemp cannabinoid infused oils, however our products are not certified organic.  Some of our products are certified kosher and all are packaged in an FDA-approved facility.

Will full spectrum hemp products influence a drug test?

Drug tests differ in terms of what they are designed to detect.  Our products contain <0.3% THC content as allowed in the US Farm Bill, but due to variables including frequency of your use, your individual metabolism and other factors, we cannot make any claims about what will show up in a drug test.

Do you use animals for testing?

No. Our products are truly cruelty-free and are never tested on animals.

Where can I have Mokiobi products delivered?

We currently ship to most states within the United States, but our products are not currently available for international shipping.

If I have a medical condition can I take Mokiobi and will it help me?

You should always check with your physician before taking any supplements or CBD products.  At Mokiobi, we believe in total transparency with our customers, and while many other companies will make unsubstantiated claims about the many uses of CBD or full spectrum hemp products, we will never make a claim unless it has been verified in clinical trials.

Can I take Mokiobi if I am pregnant or nursing?

If you are pregnant or nursing, always consult your physician before taking any supplements or CBD products – including ours.

Can I give Mokiobi to my dog?

It’s always best to check with your veterinarian first.  Many of our customers share their Mokiobi with their pets with great results, but check with your veterinarian about the correct dosages, and whether they think CBD is appropriate for your pet.
